Bio

I am a Maine native living in the mid-coast area all my life.  I am inspired by, and related to Maine’s black and white photographer the late Kosti Ruohomaa, whose works depicting old Maine are amazing!

My paintings & jewelry are examples of the scenic beauty of Maine all around me, which includes the environment of our fishermen and farmers.  I love showing the wonderful vistas that our state has to offer, and depict it throughout my work in a fun and colorful way!

All of my work is light, fun, and filled with natural inspirations from Maine!  I hope you enjoy it as much as I  enjoy creating it!  My paintings & jewelry pieces will enrich the owner throughout time, and can be passed down through families or friends for generations.

I use Maine's beauty as inspiration for my work, usually finding something weathered, colorful or natural to paint.  Always searching our beauty in one form or another, I am continually on the lookout for textures, colors and shapes from natures woods and waters.  I use recycled materials when I can and search the woods and seashores for material and inspiration.

My work is about reminding you to notice even the smallest beauty that surrounds us on a daily basis, and helping you to just stop look, breathe and enjoy it!”
